FUSA para la salud integral con perspectiva de genero y derechos asociación civil (Civil Association for Integral Health with a Rights Perspective) implemented the three-year project “DeSeAr Project (Sexual Rights in Argentina) with Inclusion: Promoting Access to Sexual and Reproductive Rights for Women and Girls with Disabilities in Argentina” across four regions with the support of the UN Trust Fund from 2018 to 2021. The goal was to promote the sexual and reproductive health (SRH) rights of women and girls with disabilities. The final evaluation found that key service providers were better able to provide disability-inclusive, rights-based SRH information and services. Additionally, women and girls with disabilities were empowered to exercise and defend their rights.

STEWARDWOMEN implemented the three-year “Strengthening Provision and Coordination of Services to Survivors of Rape and Early/Child Marriage in South Sudan" project in 2019-2022 with the support of the UN Trust Fund. The project aimed to provide services, raise awareness and provide information to survivors of rape and early/child marriage from a rights-based perspective, and enhance the institutional response capacity of STEWARDWOMEN during the COVID-19 pandemic and future crises. The final evaluation found that the project achieved its objectives.

In the State of Palestine, the Stars of Hope Society implemented the "HEMAYA” project in partnership with the Social and Economic Policies Monitor (Al-Marsad) with the support of the UN Trust Fund for over three years in 2018-2022. The project aimed to support women and girls with disabilities who were survivors of violence in the West Bank and Gaza Strip to safely access adequate and appropriate support services. The final evaluation found that the project’s strategy was highly relevant and achieved significant changes for women and girls with disabilities. 

Al Shehab Institution for Comprehensive Development implemented the three-year project “Community-based intervention to alleviate the different forms of violence against women and women's vulnerability to HIV ‘Scale-up phase’” in Egypt’s capital Cairo between 2019 and 2022 with the support of the UN Trust Fund. This twice-funded project aimed to address women’s vulnerability to violence and HIV. The final evaluation found that the project’s objectives were covered effectively and its activities were achieved. 

Kvinna till Kvinna received funding from the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women to implement the project “Women human rights defenders’ holistic approach to end gender-based violence in a challenging context in Lebanon” in partnership with two non-profit Lebanese organizations – KAFA and Association NAJDEH. The final evaluation showed that the project was significantly relevant to the local context.

Between March 2017 and February 2020, LUKMEF – Cameroon received funding from the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women to implement its project “Building Community Level Agenda to End Gender Based Violence in Cameroon”. The final evaluation found that the project led to significant positive changes in the lives of beneficiaries.

The Center for Reproductive Rights received a grant from the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women for its three-year project “Ensuring Access to Reproductive Healthcare for Survivors of Sexual Violence in Honduras”. The project aimed to protect the health and well-being of survivors of sexual violence and lead a multi-faceted legal advocacy campaign. The final evaluation found that despite its broad goals, the project successfully engaged all institutions and stakeholders that provide strategies to improve access to sexual and reproductive health services for women and girls, particularly survivors of sexual violence.

The UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women provided funds for the Autonomous Women’s Center’s project “No Tolerance for Gender Based-Violence” between January 2016 and December 2018. The initiative disseminated information, changed individual attitudes, raised awareness about gender-based violence, and facilitated advocacy activities. The final evaluation found that the Center increased youth understanding of gender-based violence and contributed to changing boys’ attitudes about it.

In January 2015, Alliance against Discrimination of LGBT People launched the two-year project “Reduce Violence against Women, with Focus on LBT community in Albania”, with the support of the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women. The final evaluation found that the project improved the lives of LBT women experiencing violence, especially of those living outside the capital, mainly through improved and more integrated care.

ALAFIA received funding from the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women to implement the project “Eradication of harmful customary widowhood practices that can lead to HIV/AIDS infection” in 24 villages in Togo. The final evaluation showed that the project ended degrading and humiliating widowhood rites against women in these villages and established the principle of equal sharing of inheritance between women and men.
