The Sexual Offences Awareness & Victims Rehabilitation (SOAR) Initiative implemented the project “Mobilizing Communities to end Sexual Based Violence Against Girls in Dushe local District of Abuja Municipal Area Council” with support from the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women. The final evaluation found the project had improved girls’ experience of safety and support in schools and their communities.

Between January 2015 and December 2016, the Mongolian Women’s Fund (MONES) implemented the “Securing State Investment to Prevent Gender-Based Violence in Schools” project, funded by the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women. The final evaluation found that the project changed boys’ and girls’ knowledge and perception of gender-based violence and helped them to acquire confidence in their right to enjoy a safe school environment.

Engaging Men to Strengthen the Implementation of Gender-Based Violence Laws and Policies and Promote Gender Equality in Kenya, Rwanda and Sierra Leone was implemented by Sonke Gender Justice from August 2011 to August 2014, and supported by a three-year grant from the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women. The final evaluation found that the project had empowered women and men to report gender-based violence and to work against practices that perpetuate it.
