The UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women (UN Trust Fund) launches its annual report for 2024, the fourth year of its Strategic Plan 2021-2025

In 2024, the UN Trust Fund supported 180 civil society and women’s rights organizations across 74 countries, reaching over 14.7 million people and directly supporting more than 7.7 million women and girls—many in crisis settings and from the most marginalized groups. As backlash intensifies and funding shrinks, these organizations remain at the frontlines of prevention, protection, and justice.

With a unique model that goes beyond grants—offering capacity-building, resilience support, and visibility—the UN Trust Fund is helping feminist civil society deliver impact even in the most complex contexts. Yet demand continues to far outpace resources, especially to address new threats such as technology-facilitated violence.
