The Orange Label initiative aims to raise global awareness and funds to support UN Trust Fund grantee projects that work to prevent and end violence against women and girls at local and national levels. By developing partnerships with socially responsible and forward-looking businesses, the UN Trust Fund seeks to demonstrate that ending violence against women and girls is a goal that we can all work towards, and that choices of consumers and entrepreneurs bring about significant, positive change.
Orange Label partners include:
London College of Fashion
The Orange Label is the result of a partnership between the UN Trust Fund and the UK-based London College of Fashion. The Orange Label will soon adorn a variety of garments and other goods around the world and contribute to raising awareness and resources for the UN Trust Fund. The London College of Fashion also launched a competition under the umbrella of the Orange Label, which called on the fashion world to say “no” to violence against women by producing a piece of work that promotes this message through fashion in the following categories: design, film and moving image, illustration, photography, journalism, and beauty.
